WP:BLP violations[edit]

Several users from Romania have been adding, sometimes with sources, a series of events in which Webó allegedly gets his red card for racially abusing the refereeing team.

But what does the source say?

"After four minutes, followed the phase with the elimination of Webo and the wording used by Colţescu, "the black one" to identify the second from Istanbul Başakşehir. Here, too, the Turks took on challenges against the Romanian brigade. It was heard, again, how someone from their delegation, next to Colţescu, said: “In my country, it is said that Romanians are gypsy (no - gypsies). But I can't say "gypsy" here."

How can anyone, especially a native speaker, read that and believe that it's saying that Webó did it?

See also Marca in English: "Now, the Romanian TV channel Digi24 have published a video in which a voice in the background with a Turkish accent makes a comment in English. "In my country, Romanians are gypsies," he says".

I've seen the clip, and from my own WP:OR, that is no way comparable to Webó's voice, but here we have two reliable sources, one saying that the alleged racist was an unidentified Istanbul member and the other says he was Turkish. No credible source says it's Webó saying this. 2A00:23C5:E187:5F00:499:224E:2662:87DD (talk) 13:18, 16 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, the sources used do not explictly state that Webo used the word. P,TO 19104 (talk) (contribs) 21:43, 17 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

what makes you think I'm Romanian? Webo got a red card for gypsy comments before the "racist" incident and published clips. Romanian FA allegedly today asked UEFA for formal investigation but I'm still waiting for confirmation. https://twitter.com/Emishor/status/133961449918846566495.168.116.111 (talk) 21:33, 17 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You're going to need better sources than Twitter. If you're the same person who added the source from Adevarul, you added a source which doesn't even accuse Webó of being the one who says it. How can we trust that you're acting in good intentions here? 2A00:23C5:E187:5F00:B8A9:E978:9EC4:8732 (talk) 15:57, 18 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
