Mescalne pipe?[edit]

What the hell is a mescaline pipe!? Let The Sunshine In 16:53, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A pipe used for smoking mescaline, I would presume. 216.36.188.184 (talk) 02:35, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Pipe Dream" vs "Pipe dream"[edit]

Is there a reason there two articles aren't merged? 98.202.22.235 (talk) 00:28, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good question. I'm not really sure what the DAB page guidelines say about it. All the DAB links here are on the other page, but I don't know what to do with the definition. It's now on Wiktionary, so it's really not needed here anymore. My sugestion would be to move the Wiktionary link to Pipe Dream, and make this page a redirect, but vice versa would work too. - BillCJ (talk) 03:06, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There Seems to be a redirect loop here --64.251.65.161 (talk) 02:01, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The disambiguation guideline – specifically, WP:DAB#NAME – states: "There should be just one disambiguation page for all cases (upper- or lower-case), variant punctuation and diacritic marks." Since the original term is pipe dream (the idiomatic expression), I have merged into this page. Ayla (talk) 01:01, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Short definition[edit]

Per "A short description of the common general meaning of a word can be appropriate for helping the reader determine context." I am adding back "A pipe dream is a fantastic hope or plan that is generally regarded as being nearly impossible to achieve."
