Censorship[edit]

Spam. Inappropriate material for Wikipedia. I come for research, not for porn ads.

Agree, so I change the redirects of pirates to pirate (ie: the sea pirate) instead. In addition, the writeups for the article seems like an advertisement. Hopefully, it will be re-written. Otherwise, it may be WP:AfD candidates. --Hurricane111 20:00, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There are plenty of pornographic films and pornography-related material in Wikipedia. Indeed, another pornographic parody, this time of Brokeback Mountain (film), has its article at Bareback Mountain. If you wish to be learn more about Wikipedia and pornography, please go to Wikipedia:Pornography. Thank you so much. --Cumbiagermen 10:13, 2 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Some folks do come to Wikipedia to research porn. And, in a way, by the original commenter's way of thinking, every movie article here could be considered spam/ads. Dr Archeville 15:10, 18 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

de-stubbing?[edit]

I really don't see how this article is a stub any more. Anyone agree or disagree? If I don't hear from anyone in 7 days, I'll de-stub it myself. --Mr Vain 07:46, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Meh, I'm removing it. I'm not patient enough to wait that long and the last posting in this talk was done months ago. --Mr Vain 00:54, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Add video excerpts[edit]

I think we should put the beta audio-visual system through it's paces and have video excerpts from the film.

lol

possibly crude terminology?[edit]

"everybody bangs."? That doesn't seem an appropriate way to put it for an encyclopedia, though I am unsure how to rephase it.

would "everybody fucks" be more to your liking?

SPOILERS![edit]

Oh man, this article needs a spoiler warning. It totally ruined the movie for me. :( 69.143.153.160 01:03, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah... lots of...

Lies in the opening paragraph[edit]

pirates xxx was not the most expensive pornographic film ever produced, caligula was. SOMEONE FIX THIS —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.79.81.4 (talk) 04:12, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Caligula is not a pornographic, adult film. It is an Italian-American Biography, featuring adult scenes. - Dread Pirate Luvodicus — Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.130.206.196 (talk) 00:38, 3 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Pirates II[edit]

The DVD is now out for Pirates II there is a WP entry for it, but it's a stub. Needs someone to flesh it out Pirates_II:_Stagnetti's_RevengeGkleinman (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 19:26, 8 October 2008 (UTC).[reply]

inconsistent budget[edit]

In the intro it says the budget is 10 million, but below the main image it says the budget is 1 million. Should change one of them to the (correct) answer for truth and consistency — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.32.168.53 (talk) 23:49, 28 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

No longer the highest[edit]

'The sequel, Pirates II: Stagnetti's Revenge, was made on an even bigger budget of $8 million, and it is considered the most expensive porn film ever produced.' This is no longer true, because "Star Wars XXX" has a budget of around $11 - $12 million. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.244.29.41 (talk) 10:28, 20 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
