Mr. Sullivan

Billy Jr.'s sucessor

I think the obvious person to fill Billy Mays Jr.'s shoes, is is son, Billy Mays, III. Although I would keep watching if someone previously on the show, like the "Grater Plater" guy was the second Pitchman. Which brings up two points:

1. . We can't say that the show is over unless it is officially canceled.
2. . We need to add the name of the "Grater Plater" guy to the article.

The other pitchman will still be Anthony (even as announced by www.Discovery.com), since there's no good reason that I know of to remove him. In fact, in my opinion they could have all three of those guys in there.

Billy Mays Tribute

the Billy Mays tribute on my tv schedule is listed as just Pitchmen but the episode is listed as Pitchman a Tribute to Billy Mays. I was wondering is the tribute considered the 13th episode of the show. —Preceding unsigned comment added by IDALGHAMTFPD (talk • contribs) 02:09, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

I think that the episode was more of a "bonus" episode to the series. It is in a different format from the regular series, so I think it should be in a separate section from the regular episodes, though still included in the article --WillMcC (talk) 02:17, 10 July 2009 (UTC).

DVD Release

2 questions
1. is Discovery going to release a DVD of season 1 of Pitchmen?

Pitchmen renewed for second season

According to a "press release issued today by Discovery Channel", PitchMen has been renewed for a second season. It will be "developed" with Anthony Sullivan and Billy Mays III, though it isn't clear if Billy will just be in a consulting role, or will actually pitch products. No air date is available as of yet.

I have updated the page to reflect this press release, and have reformatted the episode list. We should potentially spin off the episode list section into its own separate article, since the series has been renewed. --Mr. Brown (talk) 05:40, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

I've started a page on Billy Mays III in my userspace till I can find enough sources to get it built up to the point it can be moved to the article space. Also I've been discussing how the announcement came after Billy Mays III organized a Smart Mob on Twitter to get as many viewers for both the East Coast and West Coast Priemier of the Tribute episode. For anyone interested here's the link, they got "BillyMaysTribute" and "Billy Mays" into the top three on Trending Topics at the same time. --MahaPanta (talk) 13:19, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
