Usage[edit]

The term has been in usage for decades, with an established literature (which can be added in as references to the entry) and many thousands of people across the world now employed as place managers. There is also an existing link from the 'urban design' page, suggesting that the term is understood in other, related contexts. With this in mind, I do not think deletion is warranted, although some improvements might be in order. Hththt (talk) 21:42, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion[edit]

This page contains flat assertions about "place management". It reads as something of a marketing exercise for the Institute of Place Management. To be of value it needs to contained detailed information about the art or science of place management, and if this is no different to the art of policing, highway management, community development, regeneration, urban design, public realm management, etc etc, deletion should be contemplated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Place-manageress (talkcontribs) 13:35, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
