Notability[edit]

Hello, while I do not know much about this topic, it does not seem like it will end up being notable enough for its own page. A very significant event would have needed to take place on this hill for it to be notable. May I suggest merging it with Eau Claire, Wisconsin? Ryan Vesey (talk) 19:24, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a notability tag. I would really propose merging it with Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The first sentence contains the words Plank Hill is a "notable hill." This shows that the author is trying too hard to make it seem notable. I don't believe any of this information is bad; however, I do believe it should not be its own page.Ryan Vesey (talk) 12:00, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Response[edit]

Yes, adding the word notable in the description is an opinion at this point I suppose - we will revise down to straight facts. We are working on adding more research to build the case. We have a lead on the fact that an elephant is buried under the hill. This would seem notable for a non-Asian landmark. Our service-learning class is also working on painting a mural on the wall, which would certainly make it a highly notable landmark in Eau Claire. We appreciate patience as we continue editing of this page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Antonwig (talkcontribs) 22:30, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
