Advert?[edit]

Although it tries to sound unbiased, I'm concerned that the article still is too much of a product promotional page. For example, if this article was about the material itself, the fact that it was made of non-GMO cornstarch is irrelevant - cornstarch from GMO and non-GMO crops are chemically identical. A particular manufacturer may only use non-GMO material, but there is nothing intrinsic about the material which would require non-GMO feedstocks. Additionally, some phrases (e.g. "made the move from lab to commercial use ..." ) sound like they were lifted directly from an advertising brochure. -- 128.104.112.85 (talk) 22:15, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Transparent Materials?[edit]

Plastarch is not a transparent material, so should it really be included in the category "Transparent materials"? -- David.theman193 (talk) 23:09, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thermoplastic Starch[edit]

Perhaps this article needs to be renamed to "Thermoplastic Starch", as this is the common name for this material. "Plastarch material" is more likely to refer to a specific company's thermoplastic starch product. -- David.theman193 (talk) 23:28, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
