The region?[edit]

The article begins, The Platte Purchase was a land acquisition in 1836 by the United States government from American Indian tribes of the region. This begs the question, "What region?" I'm not sure how to fix it. -- Pemilligan (talk) 13:32, 13 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
