Semi-disposable version[edit]

There is now a supposedly semi disposable audio technology (i.e. a dedicated player for each piece of content) by the name of Playaway all one word. See playawaydigital.com for example. It therefore makes sense to stop redirecting to "Play Away" from Playaway as a word.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.119.251.35 (talkcontribs) 02:44, 9 September 2007

Plagiarism[edit]

When I started this article, it was a fairly straightforward description of the Playaway product, written in my own words. The current version was lifted verbatim from the Playaway company site, without attribution, by Gregsvitak. THIS IS PLAGIARISM. Accordingly, I've reverted the cut-and-paste job.—QuicksilverT @ 16:56, 16 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

UPDATE:
Gregsvitak is a Playaway employee with the consent of Findaway World LLC to use content from the official website to supplement this wiki. Freak out much? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.218.117.142 (talk) 14:08, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This still violates Wikipedia policy. Any material taken from commercial sources needs proper attribution and permission. Read the site policy much? — QuicksilverT @ 19:04, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Update needed[edit]

Article is out of date including picture of the OLD Playaway. There is a newer device which is a better design and less frustrating for users. source playaway.com Zzzbbzzz (talk) 13:44, 4 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Play away new name.[edit]

I made a edit from “Playaway, LLC” to “Playaway Products, LLC” this information came directly from the company itself (I questioned a manger) however the Playaway website also states the name at the bottom, it is also stated in the official PRG acquisition press release from February 1st 2023 Stars OwO (talk) 04:10, 10 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
