Picture?[edit]

It would nice if we could get a picture on this article to illustrate what Pleo looks like. A UGOBE logo would probably be appropriate as well since the company doesn't yet have its own article. CyberCat (talk) 21:26, 9 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for adding the picture, Lotsobooks, much better. CyberCat (talk) 03:34, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:PoweredBY UGOBE.jpg[edit]

Image:PoweredBY UGOBE.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit]

This article reads like an advert, it needs to be completely re-written in an encyclopaedic style. I shall tag this if there are no objections. --Dyefade (talk) 00:04, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Much of the problem seems to be from changing the lead section by new user Sunnygrl (talk · contribs). Since the only thing added after her edits was a link to an "unofficial fansite", I just reverted to before her edits, thus improving the article. Pleoworld crash[edit]

First, this section does not even say explicitly what "Pleoworld" is / was. Second, it is almost certainly a direct cut-and-paste from somewhere:

Last month, Gasper left the company, and original co-founder Caleb Chung found himself back in the hot seat. Chung did not respond to requests for an interview.

He didn't? With WHO? Wikipedia? I didn't know Wikipedia interviewd for content. This is obviously a copy-lift from an unattributed source. Proxy User (talk) 17:56, 24 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
