The article had no references, but I tracked some down and added them. I'm not sure if this article is noteworthy. It's really only used in Voting Matters, an online IRV advocacy publication. For the time being, I'll assume that it is and try to improve it.
Also, the definition is a little confusing--if someone has a better way to word this, I'd appreciate it. Gregarious (talk • contribs) 20:17, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
Just for the record, 'Voting matters' is NOT "an on-line IRV advocacy publication". Advocacy or campaigning articles are not accepted by 'Voting matters'. As it says on the 'Voting matters' website (http://www.votingmatters.org.uk), 'Voting matters' is a journal "for the technical issues of STV". James Gilmour 13:59, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
- Without prejudice against this article, Voting Matters is very well described as an "IRV advocacy publication". I can think of few phrases so well suited to describe it. I like reading it, but I always have to keep its point of view in mind. It may choose to present itself as agnostic between STV/IRV and other methods, but that's like calling MoveOn.org nonpartisan.
