Beautiful[edit]

Glad to see this got created. I live in Northern Illinois and had to look elsewhere for info on this topic the other day. I would note that the front affected much of northeastern and north central Illinois, not just Lake and Cook Counties. You can see more information here, that was the notice we were given locally about the drastic temperature change. Was quite interesting if I do say so myself. Perhaps there are some NWS images that are lurking out there to be added here.IvoShandor (talk) 07:08, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Problem with the third paragraph[edit]

The entire third paragraph ("The lake modified synoptic..." to "...can damage malleable metals.") is gibberish slapped together from random meteorology terms, like "the fractus of the skies, the local coriolis of the earth". The page also indicates hail is lifted to 30000 meters, which is some 10000 meters above the highest tops of the most extreme storms. Rotareneg (talk) 01:18, 28 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
