Review of article, and detection of peacock prose and possible origin (in copyvio/plagiarism)[edit]

This community and subject are important. Unfortunately, this almost entirely unreferenced article triggered alarm bells with its use of peacock/puffery language ("Nestled...", "pristine", "quaint", "high-end", etc.), which suggested it was written by the PR department of the community, or by another individual overly interested in promotion rather than encyclopedic description. Moreover, the article may have been a copy-paste, or other otherwise plagiarised from promotional materials, see CopyVio tag content. Minimally, the article needs to have all purported facts sourced/checked, and then needs a neutral rewrite. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.167.8.141 (talk) 05:21, 8 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • What you are saying makes total sense, so don't take this the wrong way, but our naming guidelines for US cities (WP:USPLACE) have us use the state name in the title. Yes, I realize it doesn't make much actual sense (there's no reason why people would commonly think of Orlando, Florida only as a full name including a state but not, say, East Selkirk, Manitoba), but it's a fairly stable situation for now.--Yaksar (let's chat) 06:51, 17 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
