The information below is not POV

Explanation for new readers: I [Pcb21] moved a section from from the Politics section of the main Gibraltar article to this talk for two reasons:

1. The politics section of the main Gibraltar article should be a summary of the most important aspects of politics with detail in the Politics of Gibraltar article. The old situation had a mix of important and less important information in the main article.
2. The section was not neutral (see reasons below)

An anon replies:

I am moving this information (which is entirely accurate) back to the Gibraltar page, although I have toned down the emotive language from both sides and removed the following sentence Nevertheless, the fact is that the original Gibraltar inhabitants were expelled by the British forces in 1704 and had to relocate in San Roque.

Anon, with the renewed material we still have a layout problem in terms of only presenting the most important information on the main article and detail in the subsidary article.

Thanks for toning down the language. Although it includes many facts, the "Disputes with Spain" section still reads very one-sidedly. The material is definitely being presented from a pro-Gibraltarian POV. Pcb21| Pete 07:43, 14 Jul 2004 (UTC)

I may incorporate the facts into the history section, or into other relevant pages. However, I did put forward both Gibraltarian and Spanish arguments. How is stating the Spanish point of view one-sided and pro-Gibraltarian?
