Error[edit]

furthermore, I grew up a few blocks from Polk street and I don't know of any jefferson street. This appears to be an error. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.249.108.159 (talk) 05:14, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cited reference does not support claim[edit]

The article claims: “It remains prominent for its nightlife although prostitutes and their pimps are still a common sight on the street.[5]” where 5 is http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/e/a/1999/05/18/METRO7576.dtl but I see no mention in the sfgate article of pimps, prostitutes, or prostitution. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.174.196.15 (talk) 17:29, 14 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
