I removed this line from the article:

Polyaenus has been one of the authors found in the library in the Villa of the Papyri near Herculaneum, opening the road to the discovery of fragments of his works believed lost forever.

I can't find any evidence for any of his own works having been discovered at Herculaneum, although there are, no doubt, quotes of his preserved among other authors. Singinglemon (talk) 22:36, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
