This link will provide some very helpful research [1]. If you search for polymer concrete or decorative concrete, you will find some really good information about the polymerization of cementitious material. Polymer concrete contains an Acrylic Latex Emulsion Admixture which mixes into Portland cement and aggregate (sand). The concrete mixture modifies and becomes resistant to cracking, resistant to freeze/thaw cycles; has better flexural strength, compressive strength, and tensile strength. The concrete can be texture stamped on driveways and vertical applications (walls) and it sets to be more rigid and water resistant. I am developing a web site for my decorative concrete work at [2] [1] --Photomind (talk) 00:22, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Huge field[edit]

This is na huge field and the article definitely needs expanding. I have access to a number of papers and PhD thesis so I will start to work on this article. GRALISTAIR (talk) 13:30, 4 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

recycability[edit]

Any information about the environmental impact? Usually composite materials are more difficult to recycle. How does the polymer concrete compare to regular concrete in this regard? 2A02:3032:2:1C5B:C692:DA24:BD31:FB4F (talk) 08:13, 5 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
