Pomona, NY (10970) includes the Village of Pomona and also lies within unincorporated parts of the Towns of Haverstraw and Ramapo in Rockland County. Parts of Pomona are also known as Mount Ivy, Ladentown and Camp Hill. Pomona borders the areas of Stony Point, Thiells, Garnerville, New City, New Hempstead and Wesley Hills. Major routes include the Palisades Parkway, US 202, NY 45 and NY 306.

Wikipedia is not for identifying places by zip code. As a comparison, 10901 and 10977 would amount to a heckuva lot, without adding any really useful information. Pomona, the village, stands alone and does not include (by definition, really) any unincorporated areas. Furthermore, I would not say that Pomona bordered Stony Point, nor would I identify Mount Ivy or Camp Hill as particular neighborhoods in Pomona (I'll give you Ladentown, but only until they incorporate their own village). Mount Ivy has its own article, too.

Also, it seems pretty intuitive that Pomona's Village Hall is in Pomona; I don't think you need to add to every article that "City X's Town Hall is located in City X." (Then again, look at New Hempstead—I believe its village hall is across the street from New Hempstead!). Troop F is in Mt. The three items listed in the Landmarks and places of Interest section are within the 10970 zip code but are not in the Village of Pomona. The Happy Valley historical marker is also outside of the village. Sticking with HiFiGuy's comments, I will remove those items. The 10970 "Pomona, NY" post office, FYI, is not in the village either. In reference to the current Notable Residents section, are the Gordons residents of the Village of Pomona? Or were they at some time? If their closest association with Pomona is the location of CEJJES, then they are merely residents of the 10970 zip code and not the village. Keeping with above comments, that would exclude them from this page but since I do not know if they do in fact live within the village at another address I will not delete the section. Historical Markers section[edit]

Neither the Sri Ranganatha Temple nor Hollywood Printing are "historical" or "very famous" in any way, shape or form. The temple has only been around for 10 or so years, so that entry was likely added by a member of the temple looking for some exposure/notoriety. The Hollywood Printing entry was likely added by an employee to drum up some business.
