Lifted almost verbatim from the website[edit]

The first paragraph of this article is lifted almost word for word from the www.pooleysword.com website front page. I didn't bother checking any further than that. 174.116.71.90 (talk) 21:07, 28 September 2014 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.116.71.90 (talk) 20:52, 28 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that too. I suspect most available material is primary--I didn't feel up to tracking down more detached sources, but I did have a go at eliminating the worst of the adulatory language. Patronanejo (talk) 01:16, 15 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sharks endangered[edit]

I find it odd the suggestion that grips are made from rays because sharks are endangered, when some 75 million sharks are killed a year for Chinese shark fin soup. Surely one a year can be spared for sword grips.Royalcourtier (talk) 05:56, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
