Background[edit]

  • "their attendance has been sporadic, with the nation" - change to country for variety
  • "The Portuguese delegation to Turin consisted of a single cross-country skier, Danny Silva. Silva would go on" - try not to start the following sentence like this

Cross-country skiing[edit]

  • "Danny Silva was 32" - aged 32
  • "and over 16 minutes behind gold-medal time." - behind the gold medal time.
