Attribution note[edit]

A quick glance suggests that at least parts of this article, pre-copyedit, were close translations of the Spanish and/or Portuguese versions of the article. Judging by their relative ages, the English and Portuguese versions both derived from the Spanish ones. --BDD (talk) 01:52, 2 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"Deleted scenes"[edit]

A lot had to be thrown out over the course of copy editing. The article remains unreferenced, so where there was incomprehensible translation, I just had to cut it. Other parts seemed tangential to the overall topic. And despite his inclusion in the infobox, I couldn't find any evidence that Diego Rivera is of Portuguese descent, so I removed him too. For now, the {{unreferenced}} tag remains, but I'd further encourage you to take any content here with a grain of salt. --BDD (talk) 02:20, 2 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

=Editing[edit]

This entry has many issues. First, the main reference is no longer accessible. Second many claims are vague and based on no verifiable evidence, such as the list of Mexicans being supposedly of Portuguese descent. In the lack of quality sources, the existence of this whole entry is questionable and should be questioned. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sindu5673 (talkcontribs) 21:37, 22 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
