Suggest merge[edit]
The two articles at Stamps of Malta and Stamps of Malta 2008 both seem to duplicate the content or potential content of this article, which is at a well-established form of name used for many countries. I suggest that the content of the two other articles should be included in this one... and presumably there may be some missing information to cover stamps 2001-2007? If the articles aren't merged, then they need to have clear links between them showing their relationship. PamD (talk) 15:23, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

- I doubt that there will be enough to say to actually make an actual article with actual text; a list of issues and tabular data is a stamp catalog, not an encyclopedia article. I note that we already have a catalog effort over at wikibooks: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/World_Stamp_Catalogue . Stan (talk) 13:37, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
- I fully support PamD and Stan. We don't need to make a catalogue of yearly issues here. There is already World Stamp Catalogue for this purpose where you can start a catalogue for Maltese postage stamps right away. All topics about philately and postal history of Malta should now be merged in one article Postage stamps and postal history of Malta. - I completed the first rough major revision of the article using the merged information and additional data.
