It is curious that this article not once mentions the name commonly given to these stamps in English stamp catalogues as "North Ingermanland". North Ingria may be the politically correct name - though even that is of Latin, not Ingrian, construction. A statement that the name North Ingermanand is equivalent is the least one might expect! More info, please![edit]
For example:
- Who printed the stamps, and did they use an imprint?
- What was the sheet layout and design?
- How many of each design and value were issued?
- Are there any (philatelically) significant varieties?
For anybody with access to the appropriate catalogues, some of this info will surely be easy to find. yoyo (talk) 07:27, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
- A quick google of "North Ingermanland" shows that there were also some early forgeries of these stamps. What is known about them?
