Re: "destitute well into the 19th century, causing the peasant war in 1653"

I doubt destitution in the 19th century could have caused a war in the 17th.

Gini coefficients and wealth distribution[edit]

The Gini coefficients are inaccurate. Denmark does not have a high Gini coefficient, it is one of the most equally wealth distributed countries in the world (not the worst as this article states). It cites a wiki page with Gini coefficients that are completely innacurate (listing Netherlands the most unequal country in the world for wealth distribution). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.192.113.11 (talk) 13:51, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Initial sentence[edit]

This article currently begins as follows:

Poverty in Switzerland refers to people who are living in relative poverty in Switzerland.

That's the stupidest initial sentence I've seen since the one that said "Tradidional Brazilian medicine is the traditional medicine of Brazil." Michael Hardy (talk) 13:37, 4 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
