• Being the creator of the article I support in reverting its original name. Chabad of poway is too long of a name to search for and most news articles reporting on this attack are referring to it as "Poway shooting" examples including the Wall Street Journal or CNN or the Washington Post, many which are on the sources of the article. Alleged

Is there some reason why the word "allegedly" is being removed in describing the suspect's role in the crime? I thought that we need to use the term "allegedly" in a case such as this? Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 17:21, 28 April 2019 (UTC)

Trump Video and PBS News Hour mention

The PBS News Hour from tonight mentioned Trump's speech a day or so the shooting. I thought I'd put it here on the talk page, although I don't know if it belongs in the article.

President Trump comments "I was talking about people that went because they felt very strongly about the monument to Robert E Lee a great general whether you like it or not he was one of the great generals I've spoken to many generals here right at the White House and many people thought of the generals they think that he was maybe their favorite general people were there protesting the taking down of the monument of Robert E Lee everybody knows that."

Location of shooting

As more updated news reports come in, and Rabbi Goldstein is doing interviews on The Today Show, CNN, and other major media, it is increasingly apparent that the attack did not take place in the synagogue sanctuary, but in a lobby or banquet hall area. Yoninah (talk) 11:38, 30 April 2019 (UTC)

This is probably definitive. It says the first shootings (Mrs. Kaye and the rabbi) took place in the foyer, and the subsequent shootings in "a room full of congregation members" (actual room not identified). That's from a SD County deputy DA. I think we can put that in the article. And maybe we'd better remove the claim that the shootings occurred during his sermon, since he would hardly have been preaching in the foyer. -- MelanieN (talk) 01:37, 1 May 2019 (UTC)
