What I have been able to find are mentions in various gun American gun collector boards, and a few German sites that mention it. What I have gathered has been from postings by individual US collectors, and I have found very little from what would be counted as reliable industry sources. So far what I have put together is:

MODEL JGL-AUTOMAT 65 RIFLE, manufactured by Josef G. Lanmann-Preetz, .22LR semi auto carbine.

The Preetz Model 65 (1965) was made in both .22 long rifle and .22 WMR calibers with a variety of stocks in both sporting and military styles; briefly it was banned in Germany as "anscheinswaffe" (military-looking rifle). In part, it was a West German response to the popularity of the Armalite AR-7 and the 1960s .22 replicas of the Thompson submachine gun and M1 carbine based on the AR-7 action. The barrel is removable and different barrels and stocks were available. It apparently was used in motion pictures as a stand-in for foreign military guns.

Primarily a sporting gun of the survival rifle type, it was used in small numbers by the Manila Constabulary in the Phillipines.
