History and Effects of the Act[edit]

A "History" section could be added which explains the reasons behind the creation of the act, types of labor pregnant women were being asked to do, etc. Also, other related cases to pregnancy discrimination, and the fact that other titles and Acts have not been effective in winning these cases. Then a "Effects" section could talk about the types of discrimination pregnant women still face. Also, link to the Equal Rights Amendment. Lastly, link to source 8 does not work. Also add research on how the ERA could and could not help this issue of pregnancy discrimination if passed A.holmes011 (talk) 19:59, 21 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

- You didn't end your quote: The Court held that a pregnant employee can make a prima facie, meaning a plausible case of discrimination, by showing that “she belongs to the protected class, that she sought accommodation, that the employer did not accommodate her. The Court

- expand a bit more on your last paragraph. and expand on how the act is meant to be applied.

- connect to the ERA?
