Applicability of Previous Question to non-debatable motions[edit]

Need to include in the definition (in the heading or elsewhere in the article) that the Previous Question can also be applied to non-debatable questions that are amendable. RONR p 190-191. When adopted, the previous question motion stops debate and prevents further amendment motions. ~ Parlirules (talk) 14:55, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good point. I am adding "and amendable" to the intro. I do not really like how the intro reads (even after my previous rewrite of it, and especially with this change), but at least it will be accurate (which it was not when it just said "main motions") and whoever feels the most ambitious can improve the writing.
