I changed the style from Stoner Rock to Hard Rock as per Mikey Heppner's own words in an interview on rockstarpix.tv in 2006: "...I like comparisons to ah you know, Sabbath, or the Melvins, stuff like that. Although, you know, a lot of people who have been reviewing our records and stuff like that on the Canada side at this point I've heard people say Bad Company and that kind of thing to..ahhh, AC/DC you know. We just like to think of ourselves, you know, more than anything else as straight up hard rock." - BostonAlex

Makes sense, I saw these guys when they toured with Megadeth, definitely not stoner rock 212.219.242.13 (talk) 07:51, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

New Album info

Hey guys I found a link that gave me info on the new album. I'm psyched, but can we build an article based at least on this? Of course, more info will be available, but for their new album article, I feel this would be a good start.

Here it is:

New Album section

I think we should change the name of that section to 'Recent Events.' Once the album's released, it will become obsolete. Tubularbells1993 (talk) 01:13, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

Trivia

Lets just kill that noise. It's not supposed to be there and that little bit about Nudo's bro is not sourced, and would look better on his article. Being new to Wikipedia as a user I don't feel that I should do that without first gathering some feedback. Tubularbells1993 (talk) 02:14, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

More citations

Added the template because hte Biography section is so specific, yet no one seems to know where it came from. Tubularbells1993 (talk) 04:20, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

Old release

I found a page discussing a promo CD the band released, simply titled 'Sampler.' Should it be added to the article? Also, there is Night Owl 3 - which is another EP they released. Tubularbells1993 (talk) 19:35, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

Shenanigans on March 09 Album

Whew, another post from me! Anyway, I'm starting to call shenanigans on their March release date. The month's almost over and no more info has come, much less an album to boot. What should I do IF the album is not released before the end of the month? Tubularbells1993 (talk) 23:07, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

Why am I the only one using this talk page? Anyway, I changed that because if there is or was ANYthing new on the album in recent times, I probably would have been the first to post here. Nothing, however, has changed, so I went with my better judgment. Tubularbells1993 (talk) 15:30, 30 March 2009 (UTC)

New album entitled 'Life Giver...?'

WOW, I might archive this soon if I'm the only one using it. Does anyone else even check this page?

ANYWAY, http://www.citybeat.com/cincinnati/article-17772-bow-down.html titled the new album as Life Giver. The date is set for sometime this summer. HOWEVER, that is the only source saying anything about it as of now. I will dig in a little deeper and see how legitimate this is. In the meantime, should it be included on the article? Source for "prior to the fire"

Okay, so I DO appreciate that someone posted the name of the new album on the page. BUT, it needs a source.

I think I have one. I know it's a blog, but it's all we've got for now. If no one objects, I'll use it but until then I'll post it here: http://www.nxew.ca/2009/07/reviewed-priestess-foufounes.html Tubularbells1993 (talk) 01:58, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

'Recent Events' last cite

...may be unreliable. I don't know, but the only other articles I found were from Blogger. I know we probably don't want that, and if the one I chose IS a blog, it doesn't say it outright (or I'm really stupid). For the time being, though, I suppose it'll do...

...and why has no one else written on this talk page? Am I alone here or what? Tubularbells1993 (talk) 19:54, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

I fixed it, Blabbermouth.net finally spoke up Tubularbells1993 (talk) 20:55, 3 September 2009 (UTC)

New songs

I'm really considering getting rid of the part where it says they've added a song to their MySpace page. We can probably keep the 'Raccoon Eyes' bit but the other thing might have to go due to the source used. Tubularbells1993 (talk) 15:09, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
