Warninig[edit]

I'm going to translate this article from English to Russian. But I see that the article is not very good as it should. I think it would be a good pratice to revise the article so the English and Russian atricles for this topic would like one another. Excuse my bad English. I'am going to upgrage my language skills. Few references[edit]

I really like this article as it describes the subject very well. However, there seems to be very few references in the "body" of the article, supporting the description of the subject - thus decreasing the verifiability. @SRFerg I can see that you are a key contributor to this article. Thank you for your contributions! I know it is a long time since you wrote the article, but would you mind adding a few references to the sources you used throughout the article? Thank you! I'll see what I can do. Thanks for the suggestion. Stephen.R.Ferg (talk) 02:18, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I see what you mean, but I don't think that adding references or footnotes to the body of the article would be very helpful. The first paragraph of the HISTORY section cites the two main books that are the primary sources of information on the subject, and as that paragraph notes, the approach received its fullest description in his [Michael Jackson's] Problem Frames: Analysing and Structuring Software Development Problems (2001). Virtually all footnotes in the body of the article would simply give references to specific page numbers to that book, which frankly I think would not be very useful. In lists of items, virtually every item would have its own page number, which in a way would be rather silly because you could just open a copy of "Problem Frames" and (in many cases) you see those same items listed, in the same order, in the table of contents. So I hesitate to put in a lot of grunt work for what I think would be very little practical value. Stephen.R.Ferg (talk) 02:38, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, I understand. Thanks for you answer. Jacob Valdemar (talk) 08:48, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
