Windows XP SP3 support[edit]

The latest version (3.31 and above) of Process Monitor doesn't support Windows XP anymore. The info can be found on its official website and I tested it on my PC. I can't find any changelog or blog post talking about this change. I use version 3.1, which still works on XP with latest SP installed. Jeyekomon (talk) 17:57, 16 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

An "Alternative to Windows Task Manager"[edit]

In the first paragraph, I have removed the following statement:

... as an alternative to Windows Task Manager,

As I don't at all feel that is an accurate description of Process Monitor. On the other hand I think the related but different application in the Sysinternals Suite, Process Explorer, is pretty much that. Process Monitor's purpose is related but much more specialized so I've removed the statement to avoid confusion. --121.223.243.95 (talk) 15:09, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
