Talk:Progressive download

Although much of what we see now on YouTube is allegedly true streaming, much content that is delivered via the web is "progressive download" and I would like to propose an article written on the subject.

Progressive Download (or PDL as some refer to it) is mentioned in the Flash Video article under Delivery options, however PDL can be applied to many media formats, a file is considered PDL if it is digital media file that buffers in a media player and begins to play as it is being downloaded, rather than non "PDL" formats that require the end user to download the entire file prior to playback.
