An introduction and out of date information on Prologis’ page[edit]

As you may gather from my account name, I work at Prologis. I chose this username so that my affiliation with the company is clear and still appropriate per guidelines on use of company names. I have noticed several places where information about Prologis is inaccurate or out of date, and would like to help improve the quality of the article, by providing resources to update Prologis’ Wikipedia page. Out of respect for guidelines on conflict-of-interest editing and the importance of a neutral point of view, my intent is to engage here, on the Talk page.

In the first paragraph of the page, it includes the following information:

The company is the owner, manager and developer of approximately 3,000 logistics and distribution facilities in markets across the Americas, Asia and Europe, and serves approximately 4,700 customers across a diverse range of industries.

As of the first quarter 2014, Prologis had $51 billion in total assets under management.

As of June 2016, Prologis’ operating portfolio is comprised of 3,347 industrial properties, and we serve over 5,200 customers worldwide. We have $64.9 billion in total assets under management. Can we update these figures in the Wikipedia page? The source for these statistics can be found on the company website under “Fast Facts.” If I can provide any further explanation of the changes outlined above, please do not hesitate to ask. Further updates and edit request to Prologis' page[edit]

A few months ago, I posted a note on this page to introduce myself as an employee of Prologis. I mentioned that I had noticed a few places on Prologis' page that included out-of-date information in the article's introduction. Since then, I've noticed a few additional items that would help improve the quality of the article. Out of respect for guidelines on conflict-of-interest editing and the importance of a neutral point of view, my intent is to engage here, on the Talk page.

In the section entitled "History," the article does not mention the 2014 initial public offering of FIBRA Prologis, the company's Mexican affiliate based out of Mexico City. This IPO raised 7 billion pesos ($538 million). Can we add this to the Wikipedia page? The source for these information can be found in this Bloomberg article.

Additionally, the "History" section does not mention Prologis' $820 million acquisition of Morris Realty Associates' portfolio of logistics and retail properties in 2015. The properties were in the tri-state New York area and in Florida. Prologis sold the retail assets, totaling about 2.2 million square feet, to Blackstone Real Estate Advisors for $374 million. Can we add this to the Wikipedia page as well? The source for this information can be found in this CoStar article.

I've put in some of the stats. The Bloomberg article is behind a paywall. Benji the Pen (talk) 15:02, 9 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you have any questions regarding the suggestions made above regarding article content, I would be happy to discuss further on my Talk page. Thanks.Lydia.prologis (talk) 01:59, 29 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Doesn't look to be balance or promo problems on the current page, so removing as stagnant. Not sure if Crookesmoor meant a specific issue I overlooked, however. Benji the Pen (talk) 15:09, 9 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
