Objection to page move[edit]

@Ex nihil: - I object to the move of the page and alteration of the text. The edit summary "As per consensus" is misleading at best. Your proposal at Talk:Solomon Islands#Official name, which you then supported yourself, in May 2017 received no replies for over a year until another editor added his support in August 2018. Since then there has been no further replies. This is hardly a consensus.

I would note that earlier in the discussion, prior to your proposal, it was stated that name changes to articles should go through WP:RM. This is correct. Further, any discussion on a talk page that potentially affects other articles should be notified on those pages. As procedures for moving this page have not been followed, this move should be considered WP:BOLD, and, as the move has been objected to, the move should be reverted as per WP:BRD. --John B123 (talk) 16:14, 14 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
