After researching the relatively limited amount of literature associated with the term pseudoapoptosis, in itself, I thought I would add what I can to this subject. Due to the limited amount of info out there, I would graciously accept any input, direction, sources, critiques, etc that anyone may have.

From what I have found, there have been a couple different ways in which the term pseudoapoptosis has been applied to particular cellular events. This is at least what I could gather from various sources, and if I have been mislead, I would appreciate a little guidance. It seems as though PA has been used to describe, what seems to be an accelerated, or alternative form of cellular death that morphologically and chemically resembles that of a typical apoptotic cell. Which is induced by bleomycin. A second way in which the term has been utilized is by describing the response of cell due to the activation of certain receptors that lead to a "false" cellular death as apoptotic events appear in progression to what is typically seen in apoptosis. Instead of the cell following through with cellular degradation and subsequent death, morphological and chemical changes are readily reversible. These are the main concepts that I was able to decipher from the literature. Which form of the term is correct, seems to be up for debate. Jlee77a (talk) 03:35, 27 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, Jlee77a, I noticed and corrected a small typo in your revision. Everything else looks great (as far as I am concerned). You really expanded this article.
