Lead back to table

I find the change from a table summarizing each hearing to paragraphs to be bad as it makes the lead very long (see maintenance tag). What do y'all think about returning the lead to a table format? — Ixtal ( T / C ) Join WP:FINANCE! 07:32, 19 August 2022 (UTC)

I don't remember that there was a table with hearing summaries, and I'm not sure how that would display on mobile devices etc? Hmm. 98.155.8.5 (talk) 21:29, 21 August 2022 (UTC)

what happened with the Trump subpoena for documents & testimony?

What is that status of the Trump subpoena, anyone know? Thanks. 98.155.8.5 (talk) 23:03, 13 December 2022 (UTC)

So far as I know, it is still outstanding, but will obviously not outlive the committee itself, which expires with this congress. Cheers. Dumuzid (talk) 22:52, 13 December 2022 (UTC)
Ah, dragging it through court to avoid implementation. Classic! We should probably explain such, in the Trump subpoena section once all is said and done, that the legal tactic was a success for Trump, and that testimony was averted etc. Thanks. 98.155.8.5 (talk) 23:13, 13 December 2022 (UTC)
I don't particularly disagree with your assessment, but there was no dragging in this instance. The committee subpoenaed, Trump ignored, and no further action was taken -- almost certainly because they knew it would be futile in the time available. So your upshot is correct, but no affirmative step on Trump's part was required. Cheers. Dumuzid (talk) 23:17, 13 December 2022 (UTC)
I see, makes sense. Yeah, it would be different if Democrats had won a majority of House seats in the midterms and the panel investigation could continue, but that's not the case. Cheers! 98.155.8.5 (talk) 23:41, 13 December 2022 (UTC)

uugh! can't figure out how to list archives of past discussion threads

I setup the archival bot & it successfully made archives here:
Talk:Public hearings of the United States House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack/Archive1
Talk:Public hearings of the United States House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack/Archive2

But then now there are no links on our current talk page being automatically generated in the header to show the archives, or search box, etc.

I looked at the templates and can't figure it out. Help? 98.155.8.5 (talk) 03:59, 19 December 2022 (UTC)

I added the archives box, but I'm not sure how cluebotIII sets the archived pages, or how to attach them to this box. You may want to contact the bots help page for assistance. King keudo (talk) 18:47, 19 December 2022(UTC)
DoneYou forgot the underscore before the counter integer. Eg, Archive_1 rather than Archive1 NewsAndEventsGuy (talk) 02:23, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
