Comparison to QorIQ, PowerPC e200, and PowerPC 5000 articles (rationale)[edit]

It is noted that there already exists an article including members of the Qorivva line. The particular intention of this article is to focus on the targeting of certain PowerPC 5000 families for quality and safety-relevant applications.

The intended relationship of this page to the PowerPC e200 page is the same as the relationship of the QorIQ page to the PowerPC e500 page (the e500 page discusses a series of cores while the QorIQ page discusses a product line that uses those cores).

It is encouraged that the PowerPC 5000 article continue to be updated to include the current offerings in Qorivva families. IveGoneAway (talk) 05:06, 16 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Contemporary Microcontrollers similar to the MPC5643L[edit]

Considering moving this to a List of Microprocessors Purposed for ISO 26262. Also considering List of Tools Purposed for ISO 26262 IveGoneAway (talk) 05:10, 16 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I expect that there are some significant error - LPC17xx is not dual lockstep CPU nor other Cortex-M3/M4. Only LPC43xx has two cores/asymmetric M4 and M0. Dual lockstep ARMs are only Cortex-R4,R5 and R7 i.e. TMS570LS3137/RM48 which can be a competitor. Somebody should correct these errors. Should I proceed?
