The following is going a bit overboard.

  • Skip Williams, Jean Rabe, Wes Nicholson, Gre Swedberg, Al Boyce, Donald J. Bingle, John Terra, Kris and Steve Hardinger, Rob Nichols, Vince Garcia, Norm Ritchie, and Tim Beach (Tim Beach worked on the Quaggoth). Fiend Folio MC14 Monstrous Compendium (TSR, 1992).

1. When we have this many authors, use the first one, followed by "et al" ("and others")--also, lead with the 1st author's surname (so we'd have "Williams, Skip, et al.") & don't forget to link if the author already has a page on Wikipedia. 2. Creator info doesn't belong in references unless he's the primary author of the work. Instead, work this into the body of the article. 3. Make sure you use the correct title & italicize it. Look at the TSR Archive if you need help (the proper title here is Monstrous Compendium Fiend Folio Appendix). 4. When unsure, follow the guidelines set forth in the style section of Wikipedia:WikiProject Role-playing games. Robbstrd 01:42, 1 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure who to properly credit for this one, since so many people were involved in it. Skip Williams and Jean Rabe are listed first as "coordinators". The rest of the people I listed were credited as "designers". Tim Beach specifically is the person who is credited for working on the quaggoth. Linda M. Bingle is credited as the editor for the product.
I'd go with "William, Skip, et al" for now, since his name is listed first. Given his long history in the industry, he was likely the senior contributor to the project.-Robbstrd 03:54, 1 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

Having recently started a List of Dungeons & Dragons monsters, I am trying to determine which monster articles should be redirected into the lists. I believe this article may be a suitable candidate to be merged and redirected into List of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st edition monsters, as that is when it first debuted in the Dungeons & Dragons game. Please discuss reasons for or against such a merge. If no discussion has taken place 5 days from now, I will redirect this article to that list; otherwise I will follow whatever discussion takes place here. Thank you!  :) BOZ (talk) 03:21, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
