coordinates[edit]

The coordinates I provided are those from BCGNIS, but they're not accurate - BCGNIS coords are typically rounded up to the nearest minute, and in this case that places the location on the other side of McBride Boulevard from the Park, and actually on the other side of the park from the community they're supposed to be for. Basemap's not functioning right now for me to use to "tweak" the coords; I'm thinking that maybe the gates on 1st Avenue, at the Arena entrance to the park, would be the best to use once tha'ts possible, as that touches on both the neighbourhood and the park.Skookum1 (talk) 18:56, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Coordinate error[edit]

The coordinates need the following fixes:

Queen's Park, New Westminster is incorrectly located in Google Earth and Wikipedia. The given location is east of where the park is actually located. Perhaps there was some confusion with Queen's Park Hospital being close to the incorrect position.

The mark would more correctly be placed at:

49° 12' 51.41"N 122° 54' 18.30"W

This is almost the geographical centre of the park.
