Robin Hanson disputes meaning of "grabby" vs "loud" in the current article[edit]

He writes:

"A special case of loud alien civilizations are 'grabby aliens' who also inhibit the development of other … [civs] in their sphere of influence." No, 'grabby' is just specific math model of 'loud.' They only prevent new aliens who see an empty sky.
