Nickname[edit]

The article refers to Quinnipiac's ice hockey team as "The Bobcats" throughout their history. However, during at least some of the time described, they were known as the Braves, before spending a season without a nickname and finally taking on the name Bobcats. I haven't corrected the article, since I don't have the information in front of me on when the name change happened.

The fact that other college hockey fans started calling them the "Fighting Deerticks" during the season they had no unofficial nickname is unfortunately not noteworthy. ;-) 74.67.181.79 (talk) 13:21, 15 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
