Cole Porter Musical[edit]
Not sure how or whether to add this, but in 1935, Cole Porter and Moss Hart wrote the musical "Jubilee" while on a world cruise aboard the Franconia. Notable songs from "Jubilee" are "Begin the Beguine" and "Just One of Those Things".

Collision with Alcantara or Marietta Pacha?[edit]
The Alcantra page states it was Alcantra that had a collision with Franconia, and Alcantra went to Alexandria for repair. Was this in addition to the collision with Marietta Pacha? These articles suggest both happened as the Alcantra was apparently escorting Franconia to Malta for repair, or was there only one collision and this article is wrong? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.147.155.227 (talk) 10:32, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
