The article RT UK, along with other pages relating to the Russo-Ukrainian War, is designated by the community as a contentious topic. The current restrictions are:

Remedy instructions and exemptions
Enforcement procedures: Violations of any restrictions and other conduct issues should be reported to the administrators' incidents noticeboard. Editors who violate any listed restrictions may be blocked by any uninvolved administrator, even on a first offense. An editor must be aware before they can be sanctioned.

"cut-in"[edit]

I looked up the Wikipedia reference to the term "cut-in" in the "Relations with British regulators" section and linked it to the Wikipedia article it refers to, as I'm sure this is a jargon term that many people will not understand. Well that page/link doesn't apply, as that is not the concept being referred to. As I understand it, "cut in" means that at some points the content broadcast in the UK is the general international transmission, but that in specific timeslots, bespoke, UK-specific content "cuts in", comparable to when BBC regional news programmes come in on BBC 1. The cited source says there is five hours of original UK content every day. Anyway, that whole paragraph needs rewriting, although I'm not sure a Buzzfeed "20 things you never knew!" piece is a good source for all this. N-HH talk/edits 10:47, 4 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The usual term in the UK for such an operation - local programming inserted into a general feed - is "opt out". "Cut-in" is probably an Americanism. G7mzh (talk) 21:51, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
