A biography of McNair[edit]

@Binksternet: If this article is a biography of McNair, I am unsure how we can justify retaining extensive quotes about the conduct of her successors at the SBA List that explicitly state she had no control over their actions. A biography of McNair should be focused on her actions and things within her control, not on actions taken after her tenure at SBA List ended. Elizium23 (talk) 00:53, 6 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Mother Jones felt that MacNair's views were worthy of print. I think it is important that MacNair is shown to have distanced herself from the subsequent actions of that group. Binksternet (talk) 01:24, 6 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia:Coatrack articles comes to mind. Elizium23 (talk) 01:31, 6 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
MacNair founded a group. Others took over the group and changed its focus. MacNair expressed frustration at the change. I don't see how this is wandering off topic. Binksternet (talk) 02:51, 6 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
At least I know how she feels. Elizium23 (talk) 03:02, 6 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Her words of frustration could be summarized if that's the problem. Binksternet (talk) 03:18, 6 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
