Question[edit]

Well, I got a question: Is Rachel's birthday (October 1st) official like Jimmy's (May 4th) or just made up. What's live action drama and is it a serious source for Rachel's birthday?

I thought that Rachel's zodiac sign would be Cancer and not Libra.

Unless we have "hard" evidence (like manga) we have to accept this. A "live action drama" is like a drama you watch on TV with real people. It is under permission from the creator (G Aoyama) so it is official. --Samuel Curtis-- TALK 19:56, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Even ignoring continuity relevant to her role as the main hero's love interest she's been an important part of the Black Org. continuity. For example: Ran was pretty much the leader in the investigation into Haibara's sister Akemi and her accomplices which ended with Akemi's death, getting the others to follow up clues Conan himself wouldn't have; for continuity the anime keeps, she's also risked her life to save Haibara from Vermouth after becoming suspicious of Jodie.

If you mean she's rarely an important factor in the resolution of a particular mystery story, this is true of all the characters except Conan. 74.233.214.104 (talk) 18:51, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
