More Information[edit]

Here is some more information from The Music Release Network, about Radar.--JackSUNxD (talk) 04:58, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This has been really useful. Thanks. Now, we just need to talk about the cover again. According to that info, the 2008 release uses the red cover, and everywhere else except the UK/Europe uses the red cover in 2009. So the red cover is the main cover (as displayed on that site). Also, this will be bring up again whether radar should be under "Blackouts" singles or "Circus" singles. If you read the info, it states that "Radar" was released from Blackout in 2009. Not Circus (except for the UK and Europe).--Apeaboutsims (talk) 09:55, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Release date[edit]

Britney Spears said in her booklet that comes with the CD for "The Singles Collection" that "Radar" debuted on June 23, 2009. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-H9jsYgQ6KuA/Vbg70qqmg8I/AAAAAAAAVbk/BuyOVoanDHM/s1600/Imagen%2B%252811%2529.jpg DatBoy101 (talk) 03:03, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

CD single[edit]

Is its inclusion as a CD single in the box set for The Singles Collection notable to be put under formats? DatBoy101 (talk) 17:31, 31 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Radar as a song off Blackout[edit]

So recently, I did a edit saying that Radar should be credited as a song off Blackout in the text box, but someone reverted it. Can someone explain to me why it should not be credited as a song on the text box? DuaLipaFan23951 (talk) 00:37, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Because it was never released as a single from the Blackout album; it was released in June 2009 from the Circus album. Its release was in-promotion of Circus, not Blackout. livelikemusic (TALK!) 00:50, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I get what your saying, but it’s was originally released in 2007 as a non single. So I think it’s should be credited on the infobox as part of the blackout album because it was released as a non single at the time. DuaLipaFan23951 (talk) 13:10, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

But that's not what the infobox is for. If it were about it simply being a song, then yes, it would quality. But the infobox is being used for a single release, and it was never a single from Blackout, so including it is false information. livelikemusic (TALK!) 14:20, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, I never thought about it that way. Thanks for telling me. I didn’t understand in the first place. DuaLipaFan23951 (talk) 15:11, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Livelikemusic: Well, I'm pretty sure it was promo single hence it was released to Russian radios back in 2008, however I also found an article on Pure Charts in France, which states it's a fourth single of Blackout. infsai (dyskusja) 00:04, 11 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop Removing Blackout Who’s Cares If It Wasn’t Promoted It Should Say From The Album Blackout And Circus So Stop 2600:1017:B0A0:C7D1:48E4:F3D6:5EA0:E4 (talk) 17:15, 16 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

"Radar" was never released to promote Blackout. It was specifically released to promote Circus. This has been discussed enough times already. If you have a source that demonstrates that "Radar" was released to promote Blackout, then you should include it instead. Being included on an album is not a reason to declare it a single off that album. (CC) Tbhotch 17:10, 17 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
