What sort of programmes[edit]

  • What sort of programmes did it play before the genocide, or indeed during - I assume they weren't talking about Tutsis non-stop? Would be interesting to know. --Last Malthusian 09:40, 26 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
The Lion, the Fox, and the Eagle (ISBN 0679311386) states, on p. 19:
To reinforce the message perpetrated by agents provocateurs (Mugesera and his ilk), RTLMC pumped out a steady stream of popular music mixed with a rap-rant of racist jargon and hatred. When the killing began in earnest, the radio station would even tell death squads where people were hiding and what street they had been seen fleeing along.
So, nothing specific about the music type, but there was some. --Saforrest 18:30, 15 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

In popular culture: theatre drama[edit]

There is a Theatre Play from Switzerland: Milo Rau and his Play "Hate Radio". My english isn't good enough to put that to this article (IDK: "Hate Radio" as theater play, book and as film? See the germanspeaking Wikipedia and this Interview in german: http://www.freitag.de/autoren/der-freitag/es-gab-kein-fernsehen). --Lkl ★ 12:07, 12 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
