Expansion to Oil, 2nd para, 2nd line: "the governor was forced to call in the state militia to. " What was the state militia called in to do?166.20.224.11 (talk) 15:16, 29 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested Links[edit]

These links should be posted about one recent contender for this position:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCpBibIt10o (main link) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ugrdhCVrVK8 (cached copy)

REASONING:

  1. 1: The 1st link is an official campaign commercial for said contender
  2. 2: Since Sledge's official website (http://rolandsledge.com/) is BAD, it's imperative to save a record of history -by listing at least http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCpBibIt10o (his official copy) BUT ALSO (in case he deletes his copy) here, also, is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ugrdhCVrVK8 (a cached copy; heck, you might make a 3rd cache under Fair Use --go ahead; you know u want to:)

BEST REASON to post *_both_* links I suggest (the 2 YouTube links and any you may cache on your YouTube also) ... FUNNIEST VIDEO EVER! PERIOD. 71.101.60.193 (talk) 17:28, 19 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"Jeffersonian Democrat"[edit]

In the Origins section, an 1892 gubernatorial candidate is described as "Jeffersonian Democratic". However, the phrase is wikilinked to Bourbon Democrat, and "Jeffersonian Democracy" was (as far as I know) no longer used by that point. Is there any source that clarifies this topic? Could I change the phrase in quotation marks to Bourbon Democrat?
