Rainbow Dash is currently redirected to List of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic characters#Rainbow Dash, a page about the characters in an animated series that is part of the "generation 4" of the toy line. Not done Oh my god it's Pokemon all over again... :D But per WP:PRIME, the current generation, to use your term, is much more likely to be the subject of searches; and hence is the primary topic.
