Any one know how the coup takeover of Tailand will affect Rakesh's extradition? Harvardy 08:11, 24 September 2006 (UTC) Yes, he was released on bail. For someone famous for staging coups... it raises questions...[reply]

The evidence about Saxena is all over the internet, from very reliable sources, court records and credible journalists. The public have a right to be warned about his business dealings he has caused considerable damage to a large number of people. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.189.140.54 (talk) 16:19, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Check the references at Vancouver Sun under Rakesh Saxena what has been posted is accurate and very fair.

This article is of lubriciously poor quality; the presentation and writing style are appalling and a significant portion of the content seems to be incredibly subjective. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.6.110.68 (talk) 22:49, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Article rewrite[edit]

I recently removed a large amount of material from this article,[1] shortly after this article was brought to admins' attention by the author of the comment immediately above. At the time the article contained a whole lot of unreferenced allegations, original research, vandalism, biased opinions, incorrect information, irrelevant personal information, copyright violations from various places, and even included a whole other Wikipedia article of dubious relevance. In short it was a complete mess. There did not appear to be a version in the article's history which met our policies on Biographies of living persons to revert to. This article now needs to be rewritten. Clearly the subject of this article has had a lot written about him in many reliable sources, and there should be enough around to write a decent sourced article. However before adding any material to this article please take the time to cite your sources when doing so. Some possible sources, suggested by User:Frqtrboy follow. Please ensure that any sources used meet the standards of Reliable sources. Above all, please ensure that Biographies of living persons is followed. Thanks. -- zzuuzz (talk) 22:23, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • I reverted the article to one of the previous versions based on what I originally wrote. No doubt others will begin their POV-pushing again but at least I tried...- Skysmith (talk) 10:34, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This article contains many errors and seems too pro-Saxena.

Many many mistakes. Saxena went to Hong Kong and was involved in a lawuit and named persona non grata. In Thailand he was involved with generals and underworld to help with money making. He wasn't smart. He started out at Thai Farmers Bank and they stopped working with him. He used the newspaper to get noticed. Chalichandra is part Thai Indian so was a natural person for him to work with on wheeling and dealing. They worked with American appraisal to overly inflate cheap upcountry property and then borrowed the BBC bank's funds against this. It was a way of getting money out of the bank. Same as the offshore deals. His M&A wasn's smart. He overpaid for not good companies. Quality companies wouldn't work with him. Usually only Indians like Precious and Phoenix Pulp. He has already lost his appeals and is ordered back to Thailand. Khasshogi's name was just used as a nominee. He never put any money up.

He is obsessed with his own importance. He was involved in politics to seem important.
